Does this replace pharmacist consultations?
No. It supports the process by gathering structured information before pharmacist involvement. The pharmacist still provides the clinical consultation.
Can we use this alongside normal walk-ins?
Yes. Scan2Care can sit alongside walk-ins, receipts, posters, stickers and website links.
How quickly can we go live?
The sign-up journey is designed around account creation, ODS confirmation and NHS email activation, with live links issued after activation.
Are labels included?
Yes. Your free personalised starter kit includes 140 product stickers and 27 shelf-edge labels. Replacement printed sheets cost £1 + VAT each, with a minimum order of 10 sheets, plus delivery.
Can we print our own materials?
Yes. Print-ready artwork for product stickers, shelf-edge labels and posters is included. You can print additional copies yourself.
How do we pay?
Your free trial runs until 1st January 2027. Subscription billing begins on 1st January 2027, with payments collected monthly by Direct Debit.
Do we need EposRx?
No. Scan2Care is £49 + VAT per month for other pharmacies. EposRx customers receive the discounted £29 + VAT monthly price, plus integrated checkout QR printing.
Can groups or multiple branches use it?
The proposition includes centralised workflow thinking, so the service can be positioned for both individual pharmacies and groups.
